We provide on-site training, initial corporate training and initial pre-opening training for up to 21 days to assist you with your initial corporate training and pre-opening activities for your Franchised Business for a maximum of two locations opened by you or entities affiliated with you. This training may be located in our corporate office in Dallas, TX, alongside a BCS Makery location chosen by the Franchisor. Initial Corporate Training is up to seven days. Initial Preopening Training for a BCS Makery opening is up to seven days per Makery for a maximum of two locations.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buff City Soap FDD, Buff City Soap provides on-site training for a maximum of two locations. This on-site training, termed "Initial Preopening Training," can last up to seven days per location, as determined by Buff City Soap. This training is provided to assist with initial corporate training and pre-opening activities.
Buff City Soap offers this on-site training for the franchisee's first two BCS Makery openings, once the location has been approved for opening. There is no additional fee for this initial on-site pre-opening support and training for these first two locations. However, for any opening support provided after the first two locations, the franchisee must pay Buff City Soap's then-current fee.
In addition to on-site training, Buff City Soap also provides initial corporate training, which can be located at their corporate office in Dallas, TX, or alongside a BCS Makery location chosen by the franchisor. This initial corporate training lasts up to seven days. The FDD emphasizes that following the completion of initial training, the responsibility for management and staff training falls solely on the franchisee.
