What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, the initial franchise fee for a Buff City Soap franchise is non-refundable. Specifically, the FDD states that the initial franchise fee paid by franchisees will be the same and is nonrefundable. This means that once a prospective franchisee pays the initial franchise fee to Buff City Soap, they cannot get that money back, regardless of whether they proceed with opening the franchise.
For a single Buff City Soap makery, the initial franchise fee is $50,000. For a Development Agreement, the initial franchise fee is $50,000 for the first location and $25,000 for each additional location. The development fee is also non-refundable.
