- Franchisee acknowledges and agrees that Franchisee will not be billed directly by Supplier for use of the Appointedd Solution. Franchisee's use of the Appointedd Solution will be charged to Franchisee by an increase in the Technology Fee that Franchisee is required to pay for Technology Systems under the Franchise Agreement. Franchisee will additionally be responsible for all amounts charged by credit card payment processing service providers. Settlements for bookings will be managed by Franchisor in the same manner as gift card settlements.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buff City Soap Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees will not be billed directly by Appointedd for using their online booking platform. Instead, Buff City Soap will charge franchisees for the Appointedd Solution through an increase in the Technology Fee, which franchisees are already required to pay under the Franchise Agreement for Technology Systems.
In addition to the Technology Fee, franchisees are responsible for all charges from credit card payment processing service providers. Settlements for bookings made through the Appointedd Solution will be managed by Buff City Soap in the same way they handle gift card settlements, streamlining the financial processes for franchisees.
It is important to note that a franchisee's right to use the Appointedd Solution is tied to the term of the Master Agreement between Buff City Soap and Appointedd. If the Franchise Agreement is terminated or expires, the franchisee's access to the Appointedd Solution will also automatically terminate. Buff City Soap also disclaims any warranties regarding the Appointedd Solution, providing it "as-is" and not being responsible for any technical malfunctions.
