We provide on-site training, initial corporate training and initial pre-opening training for up to 21 days to assist you with your initial corporate training and pre-opening activities for your Franchised Business for a maximum of two locations opened by you or entities affiliated with you. This training may be located in our corporate office in Dallas, TX, alongside a BCS Makery location chosen by the Franchisor. Initial Corporate Training is up to seven days. Initial Preopening Training for a BCS Makery opening is up to seven days per Makery for a maximum of two locations. (Franchise Agreement Section 6(b))
We will provide you with information regarding approved, required and preferred products, services and suppliers. (Franchise Agreement, Section 7(d)) We will provide you with a template plan for pre-opening marketing and accept or reject your proposed plan for pre-opening marketing.

According to Buff City Soap's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Initial Preopening Training for a BCS Makery opening is up to seven days per Makery, and this applies to a maximum of two locations. This training is provided to assist with pre-opening activities for the Franchised Business.
Buff City Soap also provides on-site training and initial corporate training, in addition to the initial pre-opening training. The combined on-site training, initial corporate training, and initial pre-opening training is up to 21 days for a maximum of two locations opened by the franchisee or affiliated entities. The training may occur at Buff City Soap's corporate office in Dallas, TX, or at a BCS Makery location chosen by the franchisor.
For the first two Buff City Soap locations, after the location is approved for opening, Buff City Soap provides up to seven days of additional local, on-site Initial Preopening Training at the Makery. The franchisor determines the exact duration of this training at its sole discretion. There is no additional fee for this initial on-site pre-opening support and training for the first two locations. If the franchisee requires opening support after the first two locations, they must pay Buff City Soap's then-current fee.
