What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buff City Soap Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'Collateral Logo Merchandise' does include drinkware. This merchandise consists of items that the Franchisor authorizes the Franchisee to sell from the Makery, which display the brand's trademarks.
For a prospective Buff City Soap franchisee, this means they are allowed to sell items like apparel, bath accessories, mugs and cups, drinkware, and laundry accessories, as long as these items display the Buff City Soap trademarks or incorporate the brand's intellectual property. This provides an additional revenue stream beyond the core soap products.
The franchisee should ensure that all merchandise offered for sale as 'Collateral Logo Merchandise' is pre-approved by Buff City Soap to comply with brand standards and trademark usage guidelines. This helps maintain brand consistency and avoid any potential legal issues related to unauthorized use of the Buff City Soap's intellectual property.
