What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Buff City Soap Franchise Disclosure Document, the General Manager must sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement. This agreement is attached to the Franchise Agreement as Exhibit C.
This requirement ensures that sensitive business information remains protected. The franchisee must ensure a General Manager is in place at least 60 days prior to the store's opening date. This General Manager must be fully trained and qualified to manage the Buff City Soap Makery according to the standards set by the franchisor.
If the General Manager can no longer fulfill their duties, the franchisee is obligated to inform Buff City Soap in writing and find a qualified replacement within 30 days. During this transition, the franchisee must provide interim management to maintain operations. Failure to comply with these requirements can result in an event of default under the Franchise Agreement.
