What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Budget's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Budget Warranty Department reserves the right to deny the coding or processing of any warranty claim it deems fraudulent or inappropriate. This determination is made after the Warranty Department uses its standard methods to validate such claims.
This means that as a Budget franchisee, you must ensure that all warranty claims submitted are legitimate and comply with the established policies and procedures. Any claim that appears suspicious or does not meet the validation criteria could be rejected, potentially leading to financial losses for the franchisee if repairs were already performed.
Furthermore, the Warranty Department retains the right to conduct in-house warranty reviews, adhering to the manufacturers' policies and procedures. During these reviews, Budget expects full cooperation from the franchisee, as well as during any warranty reviews conducted by the manufacturers themselves. Failure to cooperate could also jeopardize the processing of warranty claims and the overall relationship with Budget.
