What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Budget's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, you must complete the initial training at least 30 days before opening your Budget franchise. This initial training is crucial as it equips you, your General Manager, and other approved employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate the franchise effectively.
The training program includes web-based courses and programs available through Workday Learning, covering various topics such as Wizard and WaND (GUI) point of sale, Customer Service, and Counter Sales. The training is designed to be accessible on any device with web access, ensuring flexibility for you and your employees. Active participation and timely completion of all web-based sessions are mandatory to meet Budget's satisfaction.
Laura Lirio, the Global Senior Director of Organizational Development for ABCR, oversees the training program. Additionally, on-the-job training or instruction at a different location may be required, in which case the instructors will have at least one year of experience in the car rental industry or be members of the Licensee Relations Department. This comprehensive training approach aims to ensure that franchisees and their staff are well-prepared to deliver quality service and uphold Budget's standards.
