For Budget locations outside the U.S., what is added to the rate codes in the Reservation System?

According to Budget's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the rate codes used in the Reservation System consist of two characters. For arrival locations outside of the U.S., a third character, 'I' (for international), is added to these rate codes.

This standardization ensures that Budget can maintain consistent reporting across all locations, both domestic and international. By adding the 'I' to rate codes for international locations, Budget can easily differentiate and track rentals originating outside the U.S.
