What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Budget's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Miscellaneous Sales Accounts' report details, by MVA (Motor Vehicle Administration number), the individual accounting entry for each vehicle sold. This report is part of the Fleet Accounting and Reporting System that Budget provides to its franchisees.
This system allows franchisees to add, update, repurchase, and display accounting information for vehicles. It also enables the entry of the Authorization Number and Sale Amount when cash is received for a Vehicle Sale. The system can establish up to 99 different depreciation and/or interest calculations per fleet owner.
All financial information related to purchase, depreciation, interest, and sales are reported for posting into the local general ledger. This comprehensive reporting helps Budget franchisees maintain accurate financial records and manage their fleet effectively.
