What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Budget's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, information regarding check cashing procedures can be found in the Manual. Item 23 refers to a table of contents that lists 'Cashing Checks' under the reference number '07.03'. Also listed are 'Check Cashing, Headquarters', 'Checks, Dishonored', and 'Checks, Handling of'.
The Manual contains Budget's policies and procedures, standards, specifications, and requirements relating to the Rental Business. Budget may revise, change, modify, or supplement the Manual at any time, with modifications becoming effective 30 days after written notice to the franchisee, unless a longer period is specified in the notice. The manual may be in printed or electronic format, including audiotapes, videotapes, websites, or other electronic media.
As a Budget franchisee, you must keep the Manual confidential and not duplicate, share, or redistribute it. The master copies of the Manual maintained by Budget at its principal office will be controlling in the event of a dispute relative to the contents of the Manual.
