What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Budget's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, details about accepting repaired vehicles from other network members can be found in Item 23. Specifically, Budget requires that franchisees must accept and process disabled vehicles and other vehicles originating from other members of the Budget network that are dropped off at their location. This policy is outlined in the Standards or other written communications provided by Budget.
This requirement ensures consistency and support across the Budget system. Franchisees must be prepared to handle vehicles from other locations, which may include assessing the vehicle's condition, arranging for necessary repairs, and properly documenting the vehicle's status. This cooperation among franchisees is intended to provide high-quality customer service and efficient handling of vehicles throughout the Budget network.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Standards and any written communications from Budget to fully understand the procedures and expectations for accepting and processing vehicles from other network members. Understanding these obligations is crucial for maintaining compliance with Budget's policies and ensuring smooth operations within the franchise system.
