What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Budget's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all written notices required by the License Agreement or the Standards should be sent to Budget at 379 Interpace Parkway, Parsippany, New Jersey, 07054, Attention: Natasha Joseph. In addition to this, a copy of the notice must be sent to the Legal Department, Avis Budget Group, Inc. at the same address. The attention for this copy should be directed to the Vice President of Licensee Relations.

This means that as a Budget franchisee, you must ensure that all official communications are properly directed to both the primary contact at Budget and the designated legal contact at Avis Budget Group, Inc. Sending notices to only one address may not fulfill your contractual obligations.

It is important to note that Budget can prescribe a different address in the Standards, so franchisees should stay informed of any updates to the notification process. Franchisees should maintain accurate records of all notices sent and received, utilizing methods that provide proof of delivery, such as registered or certified mail with return receipt requested, or electronic systems with receipt confirmation.
