All training will take place at our support center in Denver, Colorado or a designated training store as we may determine.
Franchisee training will be conducted over an approximately five-week period at locations of our choosing (typically, but not always, this includes one week at our headquarters and training store location in Denver, Colorado, and up to eight weeks at one of our approved training Bakeries across the U.S.). Training is conducted as frequently as we determine it necessary in order to hold a training class.

According to the 2025 Brueggers Bagels FDD, initial training programs for franchisees and licensees take place at the company's support center in Denver, Colorado, or at a designated training store. The training locations are determined by Brueggers Bagels. Franchisee training is conducted over approximately five weeks, typically including one week at the Denver headquarters and up to eight weeks at an approved training bakery across the U.S. The frequency of training is determined by Brueggers Bagels as deemed necessary to hold a training class.
Brueggers Bagels requires that the Operating Partner or Store Manager attend and successfully complete the initial training program. The Bakery must be under the active full-time management of individuals who have passed operations and proficiency tests and successfully completed the applicable training program to graduate as a Certified Manager. Brueggers Bagels may also provide the training program for additional Certified Managers or shift supervisors for a fee.
Brueggers Bagels bears the cost of all initial training (instruction and required materials) for up to two individuals. The franchisee is responsible for all other expenses, such as transportation, lodging, meals, wages, benefits, and worker's compensation insurance. If a franchisee requests additional on-site training and Brueggers Bagels is able to provide it, the franchisee will pay $350 per person to be trained per day, plus per diem charges and out-of-pocket expenses.
