What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brueggers Bagels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Brueggers Bagels does not authorize its employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. This means that prospective franchisees should not rely on any financial projections or income claims made by Brueggers Bagels employees. However, if you are purchasing an existing bakery, Brueggers Bagels may provide you with the actual records of that bakery.
If a potential franchisee receives any financial performance information or projections of future income from someone other than the official records of an existing bakery, they are advised to report it to Brueggers Bagels' management by contacting Matthew Copenhaver at 1720 S. Bellaire Street, Suite Skybox, Denver, Colorado 80222, tel. (303) 568-8000, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies. This is to ensure that all information received is accurate and compliant with franchise regulations.
This policy is typical in franchising, as franchisors want to control the information disseminated to potential franchisees to avoid potential legal issues related to misleading or inaccurate financial projections. Franchisees should rely on the FDD and their own independent research and due diligence when evaluating the potential financial performance of a Brueggers Bagels franchise.
