What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brueggers Bagels's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Brueggers Bagels has the right to change the allocation of the Marketing Contribution. This contribution is specified in Section 14.3.1, which covers funds and/or a Marketing Co-op.
Brueggers Bagels will provide written notice to the franchisee regarding any changes to the allocation. These changes will then take effect at the end of that month. This means that franchisees will have a short period between receiving notice and the implementation of the new allocation, so they should be prepared to adjust their financial planning accordingly.
This policy allows Brueggers Bagels to adapt its marketing strategies quickly in response to market conditions or other factors. However, it also means that franchisees have limited control over how their marketing contributions are spent, and they must be prepared for potential fluctuations in the allocation of these funds.
