What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brightstar Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Brightstar Care may require additional training for franchisees under certain circumstances. Specifically, corporate office and/or regional training might be required for system-wide rollouts of new programs or initiatives. Additionally, if a franchisee's location has performance metrics that fall below the top quartile, Brightstar Care may mandate additional training to improve performance.
The cost for this additional training varies. Franchisees can expect to pay $100 to $200 per day per attendee for group training programs, plus travel expenses to Bannockburn, IL, or a regional training location. Advanced training costs $300 to $400 per day per attendee. On-site training is also available, subject to resource availability, at a cost of $500 to $600 per day per trainer, in addition to covering the trainer's room, board, and travel expenses.
Brightstar Care retains the right to increase training fees on an as-needed basis to reflect increased costs, but these fees will not exceed $600 per day per trainer. This policy ensures that franchisees receive the necessary support and training to maintain brand standards and achieve optimal performance, while also allowing Brightstar Care to adapt its training programs to meet evolving business needs and performance benchmarks.
