Brightstar_Care Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Two to four days of training at our headquarters for each of the 3 key positions, including (1) branch/operations manager (or director), (2) director of nursing (DON), and (3) salesperson (the "Key Positions").

Each training "track" includes hands-on instruction for role-specific responsibilities and system functionality (§3.1.6).

Hired staff for the Key Positions are required to attend and complete to our satisfaction their respective training tracks before your Agency opens (§3.1.6).

This in-class training is supplemented by e-learning through the BrightStar on-line training system.

We reserve the right to reduce the number of days at our headquarters through the use of e-learning.

As noted in Item 7, if you acquire a franchise for a "Small" territory, you (or your owner) is permitted to hold 2 of the 3 (but not all 3) Key Positions.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Brightstar Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Key Positions' requiring specific training are the branch/operations manager (or director), the director of nursing (DON), and the salesperson. Brightstar Care provides two to four days of training at its headquarters for each of these key positions. The training is role-specific and focuses on system functionality.

Hired staff for these key positions must attend and complete their respective training tracks before the Brightstar Care agency opens. This in-class training is supplemented by e-learning through the BrightStar on-line training system. However, Brightstar Care retains the right to reduce the number of days at their headquarters through the use of e-learning.

For franchisees who acquire a franchise for a 'Small' territory, they (or their owner) are permitted to hold two of the three key positions, but not all three. The Sales, Clinical, and Operations training tracks are designed specifically for these three key roles in the business. The Sales track focuses on marketing and selling, the Clinical track on clinical administration and compliance, and the Operations track on the day-to-day administration of the agency.
