What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Brightstar Care Franchise Disclosure Document does not specify the number of on-site evaluations Brightstar Care will conduct at its own cost during the site selection process. The document does state that franchisees must submit information about their proposed site to Brightstar Care for approval within 150 days of signing the Site Selection Addendum. Brightstar Care then has 10 days to approve or disapprove the site in writing.

However, the FDD excerpts do not detail whether Brightstar Care conducts on-site evaluations as part of this approval process, nor who bears the cost of such evaluations. The FDD does mention that Brightstar Care will grant access to the Operations Manual, which outlines site selection guidelines and consultation.

A prospective Brightstar Care franchisee should clarify with the franchisor the number of on-site evaluations, if any, that Brightstar Care conducts, and who is responsible for covering the costs associated with these evaluations to fully understand the site selection process and potential expenses.
