What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brightstar Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fees are due and payable when the franchise agreement contract is signed. These fees are non-refundable.
The initial fee varies depending on the population size of the territory a franchisee wishes to purchase. For a territory with a population between 200,000 and 300,000, the initial fee is up to $50,000. If the territory population is less than 200,000, the initial fee is $25,000.
For territories with a population exceeding 300,000, Brightstar Care charges an additional $100 for each additional 1,000 people above the 300,000 threshold. This means a franchisee needs to carefully evaluate the population of the territory they are considering, as it directly impacts the initial franchise fee.
