What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brightstar Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee hires a branch manager or operations manager to assist the Control Person with the agency's daily operations, that individual must successfully complete all of Brightstar Care's required training programs. The franchisee is also obligated to keep Brightstar Care informed of the identity of any branch manager/operations manager or other key positions they hire.
This requirement ensures that individuals in key management roles within the Brightstar Care franchise network are properly trained and aligned with the brand's operational standards. By mandating training, Brightstar Care aims to maintain consistency and quality across its franchise locations.
For a prospective franchisee, this means factoring in the time and cost associated with training a branch manager or operations manager. It also highlights the importance of carefully selecting individuals for these roles, as their successful completion of the training program is a condition of their employment. Furthermore, the franchisee must maintain open communication with Brightstar Care regarding the personnel in these key positions.
