What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brightstar Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the State EVV Version Upgrade Fee is collected via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). The fee is $500 per EVV version upgrade required by the franchisee's state. This fee is charged each time a version upgrade is required and is paid upon receipt of an invoice. Brightstar Technology or another approved vendor will deduct the fee from the franchisee's bank account through EFT.
