0 and 40 days. As noted below, royalties are collected 28 days after the end of a franchisee's weekly billing period. As a result, the royalty payment cycle generally matches the average time it takes for a franchisee to collect payment from its clients.
If you enter into the Expansion Option Agreement, all income or revenue generated in the Expansion Territory will be treated as Net Billings and be subject to the same conditions and obligations in the Franchise Agreement, including all Royalty/Continuing Fee obligations.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brightstar Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, royalties are collected 28 days after the end of a franchisee's weekly billing period. The weekly billing periods run from Monday through Sunday. Brightstar Care collects all royalties via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
Brightstar Care's FDD also mentions a Minimum Monthly Royalty Fee. If a franchisee fails to meet the Monthly Performance Standard during the franchise term, they will be billed the difference between the actual royalties paid and the Minimum Monthly Royalty Payment within 28 days of the end of each Monthly Performance period. Franchisees must pay the Minimum Monthly Royalty Fee within 28 days from the invoice.
It is important to note that Brightstar Care has the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement if a franchisee fails to satisfy the Monthly Performance Standard more than 12 times during the franchise term, regardless of whether the franchisee pays the Minimum Monthly Royalty Fee. This highlights the importance of meeting performance standards to maintain the franchise agreement.
