Is there a cost to Brain Balance for the personal interview of a proposed assignee or transferee?

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the cost of the personal interview of a proposed assignee or transferee is borne by the franchisee, not Brain Balance. Specifically, the FDD states that the proposed assignee or transferee will be personally interviewed at a location designated by Brain Balance at no cost to Brain Balance.

This means that while Brain Balance does not directly charge a fee for conducting the interview itself, the franchisee or the potential buyer is responsible for covering any expenses the potential buyer incurs to attend the interview.
