- 10.11. FRANCHISEE shall keep the Franchised Business open and in normal operation as BBF may specify in the Manual or otherwise in writing. According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain a full-time staff that includes a Center Director, a Program Director, and an appropriate number of Program Coaches, who may be part-time. The Brain Balance franchisee can work in one of the staff positions at their discretion. However, if the franchisee chooses not to, they must ensure that individuals are appropriately trained to fill each role. After the soft opening of the Brain Balance center, the franchisee is responsible for training any new staff at their own expense.
Furthermore, Brain Balance requires that a new Center Director or Program Director attend the next scheduled Initial Training session. The franchisee will be charged $300 for this training. This ensures that all staff members are adequately trained and up-to-date with Brain Balance's operational standards and program requirements.
