What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain a full-time staff that includes a Center Director and a Program Director. In addition to these roles, an appropriate number of Program Coaches must be employed, who may be part-time, to adequately deliver the services required by Brain Balance.

If a franchisee chooses not to contract with an external call center, they are obligated to hire a full-time employee whose primary responsibility is to handle inbound inquiries regarding the Brain Balance Program. The franchisor, Brain Balance, retains the discretion to allow the franchisee to work in one of the aforementioned positions themselves. However, if the franchisee opts not to fill one of these roles directly, they are responsible for ensuring that appropriately trained individuals are hired to fulfill each position's duties.

Following the soft opening of the franchise, the franchisee assumes full responsibility for the training expenses of any new staff members hired to work at the Brain Balance center. Furthermore, Brain Balance requires that any newly appointed Center Director or Program Director attend the next scheduled Initial Training session. The franchisee will incur a charge of $300 for this training.
