What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Brain Balance FDD, a franchisee must maintain a full-time staff that includes a Center Director and a Program Director. The Program Director, along with Program Coaches, is responsible for delivering the Brain Balance program services. The number of Program Coaches can vary, and they may be part-time employees.
If a franchisee chooses not to use a call center, they must also employ a full-time staff member to handle inbound inquiries about the Brain Balance program. The franchisee can personally fill one of the staff positions, such as Center Director or Program Director, but if they do not, they must ensure that the individuals hired for these roles are properly trained.
New Program Directors are required to attend an initial training session, for which the franchisee will be charged $300. After the Brain Balance center's soft opening, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of training any new staff members. This highlights the importance of the Program Director role in delivering the Brain Balance program and the ongoing investment required to maintain qualified staff.
