What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to pay any and all costs associated with the creation and maintenance of their social media presence. This means that franchisees are generally responsible for covering expenses related to setting up and managing their social media accounts.
Brain Balance franchisees must also get approval from the company before opening any social media account using the Brain Balance marks or any abbreviation of the marks. Franchisees must submit all content, including proposed usernames, account designations, avatars, background images, posts, and other materials, for approval before use. Brain Balance also has the right to require franchisees to associate their social media accounts with the company's website or company-controlled social media pages or accounts.
Furthermore, Brain Balance may require franchisees to provide the company with ownership and/or login rights to any social media account using the Brain Balance marks. Franchisees acknowledge that these accounts remain the property of Brain Balance upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement. If a franchisee wishes to modify their social media presence, all proposed modifications, other than job and staff listings, must be approved in writing by Brain Balance before use.
