What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Brain Balance Franchise Disclosure Document, Program Coaches are part of the full-time staff required to deliver the Brain Balance program services. The franchisee must maintain a full-time staff that includes a Center Director, a Program Director, and an appropriate number of Program Coaches. The Program Coaches may be part-time employees.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that you will need to hire and manage Program Coaches as part of your team. The number of coaches needed will depend on the volume of services you are providing at your Brain Balance center. It is important to budget for these staffing costs when considering the financial investment of a Brain Balance franchise.
Brain Balance also requires that franchisees appropriately train individuals to fill each role. After the soft opening, the franchisee is responsible for training any new staff at their own expense. This includes sending a new Center Director or Program Director to the next regularly scheduled Initial Training session, for which the franchisee will be charged $300.
