What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Brain Balance will provide modifications, additions, and deletions to the Software as they deem necessary in their discretion. These modifications are outlined in the Application License Agreement.
Brain Balance requires franchisees to license the software/application needed for their center by executing the Application License Agreement. This agreement is attached as an exhibit to both the Franchise Agreement and the Satellite Franchise Agreement. The application is used for administrative functions, including collecting customer data and sending it to Brain Balance's research facility affiliate.
Franchisees are responsible for maintaining their own hardware and communication software, while Brain Balance provides support and maintenance for the proprietary software/application. Brain Balance also provides necessary upgrades to the software/applications on an ongoing basis at no additional cost, and franchisees are required to implement these upgrades.
