What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor provides guidelines for remodeling or relocating a center. The Operations Manual contains information regarding center operations, including remodeling or relocating a center.
Brain Balance requires franchisees to identify a location for their center and obtain approval for the location and lease. The franchisee must sign the lease within 120 days of the Franchise Agreement and open the center within nine months. A copy of the lease must be delivered to Brain Balance within ten days of execution. Brain Balance considers factors such as traffic patterns, demographics, and parking when approving a location. The center should be in a safe, well-lit area near a major roadway with parking for at least 15 cars. Franchisees are not allowed to share their center space with other businesses.
If a franchisee decides to move locations during the franchise agreement, the same site selection and approval requirements apply. This ensures that any new location meets Brain Balance's standards for visibility, accessibility, and suitability for the business. The Operations Manual will provide further details on these guidelines.
