What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may need to pay for additional training and consultation services under certain circumstances. If a franchisee fails to master the principles of the Licensed Technology, if system development results in new principles or protocols, or if the franchisee requests additional training, Brain Balance will provide these services at the franchisee's expense. The standard full-day rate for these services is $1,000, while a half-day (less than 4 hours) is $500, plus costs for airfare, lodging, and travel.
Additionally, Brain Balance franchisees are required to attend and pay for Advanced Training up to two times per year, for a period of between one and five days. This advanced training includes webinars, courses within the Brain Balance Training Site, and workshops related to enrollment enhancement, sensory motor and academic administration, and marketing. The franchisee is responsible for the travel costs of its employees and personnel for this training.
If a franchisee requests that a specific individual provide the consulting services, the per diem rate increases to $1,500, with a half-day rate of $750. However, Brain Balance is under no obligation to provide a specific individual for these services. Franchisees should factor these potential costs into their financial planning, especially if they anticipate needing extra support or have specific training preferences.
