What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must have access to the internet with a minimum download speed of 50 MB per second. The franchisee is responsible for any costs associated with connectivity, router, wireless access point, firewall, anti-virus software, and hardware. Specific details regarding hardware and software requirements are included in the Operations Manual.

This requirement ensures that the Brain Balance center can reliably access and transmit data to the franchisor's central application, which is crucial for recording client data, recordkeeping, and other central functions. The FDD states that without proper internet connectivity, franchisees may not be able to access the applications required to run the business.

Prospective franchisees should factor in the cost of a suitable internet connection when assessing the overall investment. They should also consult the Operations Manual for more detailed specifications on hardware and software to ensure compliance with Brain Balance's technology requirements. It is important to budget for these ongoing technology expenses to maintain efficient operations and communication with the franchisor.
