What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees receive approximately 10 hours of telephone or webinar training before opening their center and beginning the program. This is in addition to other pre-opening training which includes approximately 40 hours of online training and up to ten days at a specified training location approved by Brain Balance. Franchisees also receive three to five days at their center location for site inspection and a brief operations overview.

This pre-opening support is designed to equip franchisees with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to launch their Brain Balance center. The combination of online, in-person, and on-site training suggests a comprehensive approach to franchisee preparation. The availability of shadow training at an approved regional center for 2-3 days, depending on staff availability, provides an additional opportunity for hands-on learning.

Prospective franchisees should note that the FDD indicates that these training hours may change due to disruptions in travel and operations. It is important for potential franchisees to confirm the current training schedule and content with Brain Balance to ensure they fully understand the scope of pre-opening preparation and support they will receive. Understanding the specific topics covered during the telephone or webinar training, as well as the qualifications of the trainers, can further inform a franchisee's decision-making process.
