How many days of training at a specified location does Brain Balance provide?

- (d) Provide you with (i) approximately 40 hours of online training; (ii) up to ten (10) days at a specified training location approved by BBF; (iii) and three (3) to five (5) days at your Center location for site inspection and a brief operations overview. In addition, you will have approximately 10 hours of telephone or webinar training before you open and start to have participants begin in the program. We will make shadow training available to you and your staff at an approved regional Center for 2-3 days, depending upon that Center's staff availability. (Franchise Agreement §9.01(d)). Satellite centers are provided (i) approximately 24 hours of online training; (ii) the option (not mandatory) of up to (5) days at a location approved by BBF. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees receive up to ten days of training at a location specified and approved by Brain Balance. This training is part of the pre-opening obligations that Brain Balance provides to new franchisees. In addition to the specified location training, franchisees also receive approximately 40 hours of online training and three to five days of on-site training at the franchisee's center for site inspection and operations overview.
It is important to note that the number of training hours may change due to travel and operational disruptions. Franchisees also receive approximately 10 hours of telephone or webinar training before opening. Shadow training is available for the franchisee and their staff at an approved regional center for two to three days, depending on the center's staff availability.
For franchisees who purchase an existing Brain Balance center, the new franchisee will undergo a mandatory three-week training period before the transfer of ownership is complete. This training includes virtual courses and virtual instructor-led training. Additionally, there are seven days of in-person training at the center location, conducted by a member of the Brain Balance Training Department. If the on-site training aligns with a scheduled Initial Training class, the new franchisee will complete Initial Training with the class instead of the on-site visit.
