ce is mandatory for either the Center Director or Program Director when this Advanced Training is offered by FRANCHISOR. FRANCHISEE is responsible for the travel costs of its employees and personnel.
- (b) FRANCHISEE shall be required to attend and pay for additional training or consultation services provided by COMPANY in any of the following circumstances: (1) if requested by FRANCHISEE, (2) required by COMPANY in the event FRANCHISEE fails to master the principles and objectives of the Licensed Technology, (3) System development results in new principles or protocols, or (4) FRANCHISEE replaces either the Center Director or Program Director. Such consultation services will be charged at a half-day rate of $500 (less than 4 hours of training) and full-day rate of $1,000, plus airfare, lodging, and travel expenses. Alternatively, FRANCHISEE may send a new Center Director or Program Director to the next regularly scheduled Initial Training session at a cost of $300. Fees will be transferred to FRANCHISOR via ACH.

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may need to pay for additional training or consultation services under certain circumstances. These circumstances include the franchisee requesting the training, Brain Balance requiring it because the franchisee hasn't mastered the Licensed Technology, system development resulting in new principles or protocols, or if the franchisee replaces the Center Director or Program Director. The half-day rate for these services is $500, which covers training sessions lasting less than 4 hours.
In addition to the half-day rate, franchisees are also responsible for covering airfare, lodging, and travel expenses for the consultant. As an alternative to the additional training, a franchisee can send a new Center Director or Program Director to the next regularly scheduled Initial Training session for $300. All fees for these services are transferred to Brain Balance via ACH.
If a franchisee requests consulting services be performed specifically by a particular individual, the half-day rate increases to $750. However, Brain Balance is under no obligation to provide the services of a specific individual. This additional cost should be considered when budgeting for ongoing training and support, especially if specialized expertise is desired.
