What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a 'full day' of consulting services is defined as any consulting that lasts more than four hours. These consulting services, which include business development, marketing, and operations, are available at the franchisee's expense. The cost for these services is $1,000 per day, plus expenses, but can increase to $1,500 per day if a specific Brain Balance employee is requested.

In addition to full-day consulting, Brain Balance also offers 'half-day' consulting services, defined as lasting more than one-half hour and less than four hours, for which a fee of $500 is charged. Time spent by a consultant lasting less than one-half hour will not be considered consultation services.

This means that franchisees need to budget for potential consulting costs if they require additional support beyond the initial training. The tiered pricing structure allows for flexibility, but it's important for franchisees to carefully consider their needs and the associated expenses. Understanding these costs upfront can help in financial planning and ensure that franchisees can access the support they need to operate their Brain Balance center effectively.
