What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must have an established standard Brain Balance Center before the company will consider allowing them to open a Satellite Center. This requirement ensures that franchisees gain experience operating a full-scale center and demonstrate their ability to manage the Brain Balance program effectively before expanding to a satellite location.

This condition is in place to maintain the quality and consistency of the Brain Balance program. By requiring a standard center to be established first, Brain Balance can ensure that franchisees have the necessary infrastructure, trained staff, and operational expertise to successfully run a satellite center. This approach minimizes the risk of franchisees opening satellite centers prematurely, which could lead to compromised service quality and brand reputation.

For prospective franchisees, this means that they must initially focus on establishing and operating a standard Brain Balance Center. Only after demonstrating success with the standard center will they be eligible to pursue the option of opening a satellite location. This phased approach allows franchisees to build a solid foundation and gradually expand their business in a controlled manner. Franchisees should inquire about the specific criteria and performance metrics that Brain Balance uses to evaluate a franchisee's readiness to open a satellite center.
