The franchisee is explicitly prohibited from using the center for any other activities unless specifically allowed in the Franchise Agreement or Operations Manual. This restriction ensures that the center's focus remains entirely on delivering the Brain Balance Program and related services.

This limitation means a franchisee cannot sublet space within the Brain Balance center to other businesses or organizations, nor can they operate a separate, unrelated business from the same location. The franchisee must also keep the center open during specified hours, typically between 9:30 AM and 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, unless Brain Balance specifies otherwise in writing or in the Operations Manual.

The FDD also states that franchisees may not deliver any aspect of the Brain Balance program at a location outside of their center unless they have written approval from Brain Balance. Franchisees must adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures outlined in the Franchise Agreement, Operations Manual, or other written communications from Brain Balance. This includes restrictions on offering certain services like lead assessments, post-program assessments, and administrative services at a Brain Balance Satellite Center, which must instead be performed at a standard Brain Balance Center. These restrictions are in place to maintain the consistency and quality of the Brain Balance program and protect the brand's reputation.
