What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at advanced training sessions is mandatory for the Program Director. Brain Balance requires franchisees to attend and pay for Advanced Training up to two times per year, with each session lasting between one and five days. These sessions include ongoing training through webinars, courses within the Brain Balance Training Site, and workshops related to enrollment enhancement, sensory motor and academic administration, and marketing.

While the franchisee must ensure their Program Director attends these advanced training sessions, the FDD does not specify mandatory attendance at an annual convention for all franchisees. The franchisee is responsible for covering the travel costs for their employees and personnel attending these training sessions.

In addition to the advanced training, Brain Balance may require franchisees to attend and pay for additional training or consultation services under specific circumstances, such as if the franchisee requests it, if they fail to master the principles of the Licensed Technology, if system development results in new principles or protocols, or if the franchisee replaces the Program Director. These consultation services are charged at a half-day rate of $500 or a full-day rate of $1,000, plus expenses. Alternatively, the franchisee can send a new Program Director to the next regularly scheduled Initial Training session at a cost of $300.
