What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Brain Balance's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Brain Balance will advise franchisees in staffing requirements for operating a franchised business. This support is part of Brain Balance's additional obligations prior to the opening of the franchised business.
Specifically, Brain Balance requires franchisees to maintain a full-time staff consisting of a Center Director, a Program Director, and an appropriate number of part-time Program Coaches to deliver the services. If the franchisee does not contract with a call center, they must employ a full-time employee to handle inbound inquiries. The franchisee can work in one of the staff positions, but if they do not, they must train individuals to fill each role.
After the soft opening, the franchisee is responsible for training any new staff at their own expense. If a new Center Director or Program Director is hired, the franchisee must send them to the next scheduled Initial Training session, which costs $300. This ensures that all staff members are properly trained in the Brain Balance methods and procedures.
