What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, under the National Headstone Program, Boulder Designs will collect the project deposit. This deposit is based on the total project cost, template, and materials selected by the customer. Boulder Designs will then provide the franchisee with the design, proof, and customer information.
Boulder Designs keeps the project deposit, and the franchisee is entitled to the remaining balance for the project. This arrangement means that franchisees do not initially handle the deposit funds for National Headstone Program projects, which could reduce their administrative burden and potential financial risk related to managing these funds.
It is important to note that gross revenue collected for the National Headstone Program is not subject to the 15% National Accounts Fee, which typically applies to other National Accounts projects. This exclusion could make the National Headstone Program more financially attractive to franchisees who participate in it, as it increases their potential earnings from these projects.
