What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Boulder Designs FDD, Day 1 of the BootCamp Training includes an orientation and introduction to the Boulder Designs method, franchise support personnel, and hands-on training using all equipment and methods associated with Boulder Designs technical training review. The BootCamp Training Guide is a separate additional manual that is 32 pages long.

This initial training is part of the $12,000 initial training fee that franchisees must pay when signing the franchise agreement. The initial training program is approximately five business days. The FDD notes that all trainees must complete the initial training to Boulder Designs' satisfaction before beginning operation of their franchised business.

Prospective franchisees should note that the FDD mentions a "Re-Boot training program" that may be required under certain circumstances, such as customer complaints or quality of work not meeting Boulder Designs' standards. Boulder Designs may charge a $2,500 fee for this re-boot training. Franchisees are also responsible for all travel costs, room and board, and employees' salaries incurred in connection with attendance at such training.
