What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, in addition to the initial training program, Boulder Designs does provide a re-boot training program. The re-boot training takes place at their headquarters or another designated location and lasts approximately three business days.
The FDD states that there is no cost for the re-boot training if the franchisee is in full compliance with the franchise agreement and there is space available in the class. However, Boulder Designs may charge a $2,500 fee for the re-boot training program if the franchisee requests additional on-site training, receives customer complaints, or if the quality of their work does not meet Boulder Designs' standards. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid before attending the training. The franchisee is responsible for all other costs associated with attending the training.
Boulder Designs may also require experienced managers or employees to attend refresher training programs at their headquarters or other designated locations. The franchisee is responsible for all expenses related to these programs, but Boulder Designs will not require attendance at more than two programs per calendar year, and these programs will not exceed five days annually, excluding any annual convention.
