What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee is generally nonrefundable. Once the franchisee completes the initial training, the initial training fee is considered fully earned by Boulder Designs and is nonrefundable. However, if a franchisee does not successfully complete the initial training, Boulder Designs retains the right to deduct from the initial training fee any expenses they incurred in providing the training.
This means that a prospective Boulder Designs franchisee should be prepared to potentially lose the initial training fee if they do not complete the training program. It is important to understand the requirements and expectations of the training program to ensure successful completion.
Additionally, the franchisee is responsible for covering all their own expenses related to attending the training, including travel, room and board, and employee salaries. There is also an On-Site Training Cancellation Fee if the franchisee cancels, fails to attend, or does not complete the entire training program.
