What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Boulder Designs Franchise Disclosure Document states that the Initial Training program takes place at the company headquarters or at other locations that they designate. The Initial Training program is in person and lasts approximately five business days. The training covers all material aspects of operating a Boulder Designs business, including culture, job site field tours, technical and procedural training, and sales training.

Boulder Designs requires the franchisee (if not a corporation or other business entity) and all Internal Managers to attend and complete the training program to the company's satisfaction. All trainees must complete initial training before beginning operation of their franchised business.

The FDD also mentions a "BootCamp Training Guide" manual, which includes hands-on training at their facility. The manual outlines a three-day schedule that includes orientation, introductions to the Boulder Designs method, franchise support personnel, and technical training reviews. However, the document does not specifically mention a "graduation" portion of the training.
