What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees operating a brick and mortar location with a public showroom are required to maintain specific business hours. Section 13.4 of the franchise agreement states that these franchisees must keep the Franchised Business open during normal business hours and on the days specified in the Manual or as otherwise specified by Boulder Designs. This requirement ensures consistent service availability for customers and helps maintain the brand's reputation.
This obligation applies specifically to franchisees who choose to operate a physical storefront. Franchisees operating from a home office do not have the same requirement to maintain specific hours. This distinction acknowledges the different operational models within the Boulder Designs franchise system, allowing for flexibility based on the franchisee's chosen business approach.
The specific hours and days of operation are detailed in the Boulder Designs Manual, which franchisees receive as part of their training and ongoing support. Boulder Designs retains the right to modify these hours, ensuring that the business hours align with market demands and customer needs. Franchisees should consult the most current version of the Manual and any updates from Boulder Designs to ensure compliance with the specified operating hours.
