What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee is $12,000. This fee covers training for the franchisee and their initial manager, lasting approximately five business days. The $12,000 initial training fee is due upon signing the franchise agreement. This fee is considered fully earned and nonrefundable once the training is completed. However, the FDD does not specify the amount of the On-Site Training Cancellation Fee.

If the franchisee does not successfully complete the initial training, Boulder Designs reserves the right to deduct an amount from the initial training fee to cover their expenses and the cost of providing the training course. In addition to this deduction, the franchisee will also be responsible for paying the On-Site Training Cancellation Fee.

Prospective franchisees should note that the FDD does not provide a specific dollar amount for the On-Site Training Cancellation Fee. It is important for potential franchisees to clarify the amount of this fee with Boulder Designs before signing the franchise agreement. Understanding the cancellation fee is crucial for making an informed investment decision, as it can impact the overall cost of the franchise if training is not completed successfully.
