What factors influence the amount of the 'On-Site Training Cancellation Fee' for Boulder Designs?

Boulder_Designs Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If we or our representative is scheduled to conduct an on-site training program, or scheduled for a visit at your location for training or other reasons, or if you register for a training program and you subsequently cancel, fail to attend, fail to have the appropriate parties attend, or fail to stay for the entire training program then you must pay us, our current on-site training cancellation fee (the "On-Site Training Cancellation Fee"). The On-Site Training Cancellation Fee may vary depending upon the type of schedule training program and how far in advance you notify the Franchisor in writing of the cancellation and the cost and expense incurred in rescheduling our travel arrangements.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the On-Site Training Cancellation Fee is influenced by several factors. This fee is charged if a franchisee cancels a scheduled on-site training program or visit, fails to attend, doesn't send the appropriate personnel, or leaves before the training is complete.

The specific amount of the On-Site Training Cancellation Fee can vary based on the type of scheduled training program. Additionally, the amount of advance written notice provided to Boulder Designs regarding the cancellation plays a role in determining the fee.

Another factor influencing the fee is the cost and expense incurred by Boulder Designs in rescheduling their travel arrangements. This implies that last-minute cancellations or changes could result in higher fees to cover the financial impact on Boulder Designs. Therefore, franchisees should provide ample notice of any necessary cancellations to minimize potential fees.
