What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Boulder Designs Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure their copy of the manual is current and up-to-date. The franchisee is obligated to strictly comply with the requirements, specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules set forth in the agreement, the manual, or other communications from Boulder Designs. This implies that the most recent version of the manual, as updated by Boulder Designs, is the controlling document.
Boulder Designs retains the right to modify the system, which includes updates to the manual. These modifications are at Boulder Designs's discretion, ensuring uniformity and best practices across all franchises. Franchisees are expected to implement these changes promptly to maintain compliance with the Boulder Designs system standards.
Given the emphasis on maintaining a current manual and strict compliance with its contents, in the event of a dispute, the most recently updated manual provided by Boulder Designs would be considered the controlling version. It is crucial for franchisees to stay informed about any updates or changes to the manual to avoid potential conflicts and ensure consistent operation within the Boulder Designs franchise system.
